What are your amp settings ?
Ok, i'm not very good in amp settings and it's little hard to have some good information on the web for this amp (ht club 40)
So have you got some advices or settings for the OD channel and the EQ to have a sound like RATM or Metallica or ACDC for example ?
The goal is to stock some settings according to your style of music you're playing ? (excuse me for my English... )

Re: What are your amp settings ?
Surely there is no meaningful reply to this question .
Firstly, we are all different and one person's ideal sound or setting means nothing to someone else.
Secondly, the acoustics of the room or hall play an important part and so the sound you get from one set of settings in one venue will give you a completely different sound in another.
Thirdly, there are other variables like the guitar, the type of music, your playing style, where you are standing in relation to the amp and the other members of the band and whether or not you are mic'd up.
The trick is to know the sound you want, understand the way the controls on your amp work and dial in the sound you want each time you plug in by listening to what is happening. In other words, use your ears, not your eyes.
Keep experimenting and let us know how you get on.

Re: What are your amp settings ?
I agree with you Plustone, i keep on trying some 'sounds' but read my last sentence
What i tried to say is :
"Hmm this guy uses these settings to play this kind of music, they could be interesting..."
today i try this on the OD channel:
test 1 : Gain 6, Bass 6, Mid 0, Treble 8, Reverb 2 and ISF 0
test 2 : Gain 8, Bass 9, Mid 4, Treble 9, Reverb 0 and ISF 0
the second test is more heavy but both are pretty cool but to me lol
See ya !!!

Re: What are your amp settings ?
It must be a very loud metal sound...
Try to boost mids and basses and almost cut trebbles, you could have some surprises with a strat...on all my amps i have something like
Bass 6, Mid 8, Treble 2
It helps a lot to go out the mix in a band or for mixing rythm and solo.

Agree with you on keeping treble settings very low, especially for louder applications. And not just for rhythm but also for soloing. A good bit of bass (somewhere from 6 to 7) and moderate mids (4 to 6) with treble around around 2 to 3 is what seems to work extremely well for me so far.
