the pasha bulker got caught in a storm and was blown onto our lovely beach,it is near the entrance to newcastle harbour,that weekend half of newcastle was under a metre of water,the streets were like raging rivers,worst storm we have had in newcastle!

From what I've read, they waited for high tide, brought the anchors (rear I assume) out to sea and winched itself back out gently, they had 3 tug boats helping too. There was a narrow gap between reefs they had to navigate back through as well. It did make it back home to Japan for repairs. None of the many tonnes of fuel, oil etc... was removed or spilled either.

yeah,they had to wait for high tides and towed it of the reef,it took them a few times before they got it turned enough to get it off the reef!

see yann know's more than us and he's in france lol!

Oh no i had never heard that there was a tempest there and never heard from this boat...
Medias are blind you know...if its not sex and home...plus i have no tv at home, so there could be war, i would not been inform ! Very Happy
