Questions on impedance, ohms, speaker wiring, speaker cables...

Hi,

I've find this link which is very simple and clear :

http://www.about-guitar-amps.com/speaker_ohms_calculator.html

Check if your speakers are wired in series or parallel.
If they are in series, just add the speakers impedances :8 ohms + 8 ohms = plug your cable in the 16 ohms output.
If in parallel, use the formula !

REMEMBER :

- Always use a good speaker cable, never a guitar cable. This is the only part that can blow your gear if not good...
- Always use your amp with a speaker plugged in it. Anything else (headphone...).
- Always use the correct impedance selection !
