Hi,

You may want to have more information on channel blending...

On the Artisan Series for example, you have two independent channels, with two different circuits and valve(s) (preamp). They are both leading to the power same power section.
On each channel you have two inputs, a high input (normal) and a low input (-6dB). Those two inputs are wired in parallel, so the signal going in one input is send (or wired) to the other one two, with no loss. It's only after this wiring that the input is low or high. So....

It means that you can plug a cable patch in the input you are not using, and just send the guitar signal to the other channel !!! The second channel will have the signal two and will work at the same time ! In addition to the first channel !

You have both preamp channels of the amp working together and sending the sound to the power section. So you can blend two different sounds in one.

Clear ?
There is another point : you have an high and low input on each channel...so you can blend channels as you want...you can input your guitar in the high input of one channel, send the signal to the other one (the signal you send is at the same level, remember the lowing is after...) in the high OR low input depending on what you want to have as a result. So you can use a channel as low and push it up and use the other one in high configuration.

Remember two that you can input your guitar in the channel 1 or 2 indifferently as both channels will work together. Result will be the same !

To provide flexibility, you can use an ABY box. This works by taking the guitar input and splitting it into two leads, one going to channel 1 and the other going to channel 2. The foot pedal will then allow you to toggle between channels or to combine them, which allows you to use the options described above.

I have a Morley ABY on my pedal board, which I use with my Artisan 15.
