Sorry it took so long to respond...........the "Guardian Angel" program is the same basic thing as these "childrens funds" where you set up a monthly donation to the ASPCA to help them out with food, shelter,bedding,veterenary bills, animal humane law officers and lawyers, etc. and they send you a pic (1 a yr.) of the animal you supposedly sponsor (I know it's a sympathy ploy).
My wife and I each donate seperately every month, because we both simply believe in what the ASPCA does.
Beside this, we've also donated food to our local "Great Pyranese Rescue Shelter" and to our local "League for Animal Welfare"(L.A.W.) which is a "no kill" animal shelter.

We both have a deep love for animals (screw people, they'll burn you every chance they get) and have been "silent activists" for a long time.
The BEST thing we ever did was the 1 thing everyone has always railed against, which is adopting an adult A.P.B.T (American Pitt Bull Terrier)........he was starved to within a day or 2 of death when we found him, it took 4 days in an animal hospital intensive care unit to save him......and with patience, love, and trust, he's turned out to be the best dog either of us has ever had..........he's gentle beyond belief, loving, obedient, protective, and took the most active role in raising a litter of his pups that we've ever seen a male dog take..........and, contrary to all the "horror stories", he's never shown the 1st instance of human, or animal aggression.
When we're both old enough to retire, we're talking about opening a Pitt Rescue Shelter of our own.

I apologize for the long-winded answer, but, it is what it is.

Very cool, every single move from each one is a big step for humanity and life in general. Donate a dollar or building a hospital is the same thing. We believe tto in our couple that if each human could make just one move according to what he can to help another one or wildlife or just a flower...it would make THE difference between a good or a bad future.
I have made a lot in wildlife associations when i was younger, now i have less time and less motivation to being involve in those things but we think that if we just do the thing we think is good each day and just educate our daughter in the right way, this will be nice.

you're 100% right.............I forget who said it, but "a journey of 1000 miles begins with one small step".
We also donate to our local "outreach" center for people with severe financial problems (mostly clothes and canned foods) but our "passion" lies with the forsaken animals.

If everybody would just do ONE act of kindness daily..........imagine what a great world this could be.
